Austin

The name Austin has existed in Ireland since the fourteenth century and is usually of Anglo origin. Oistin and Mac Aibhistin are the Gaelic forms of this name that can be found throughout the four Provinces of the country. This name was further introduced into Ulster during the seventeenth century.
